My Photostory 1

I watched a lot of my classmates stories tonight and I enjoyed them. I am the only one who did not use my own photos. I have some explanations for that. First of all, I cannot afford a camera right now. But even if I could, I am not comfortable with putting my pictures out. As an actor you might find that weird, but I have only worked on stage, in Theatres where no camera's were allowed. I prefer directing and producing anyway. The spotlight does not appeal to me. It makes me sick actually. I prefer to work from the shadows. Plus I would NEVER put my family out there either. It is just not me. No offense to anyone who did. My family is large, but we are very private. I know this is hard to understand and go ahead and think I am weird; I am. You would just have to of grown up the way I did. We NEVER had anyone at our house, besides family. We were very isolated. Very protective. That has stuck with me. I don't mean to be rude, but my family is my business and so is my private life. I am a very friendly person, but I have a line that I do not cross. If you think that losing points for that scares me, then you have not heard a word I have said. I have my reasons and I respect those who feel differently, I just ask that you appreciate my beliefs and lifestyle. I do not like to draw attention to myself, except through my art. In my story I told a lot about myself and my beliefs. I feel I opened up, which would surprise people I grew up with. I invoked artistic license to tell about myself, without putting me or my family in a place where we are not comfortable and DO NOT want to be. I am a very private person and I will stay that way. There is no other option. I hope you enjoy my piece. GOD BLESS YOU All!- William Coda

Prayer

Prayer by Cardinal John Henry Newman, Prayed Often by Blessed Teresa of Calcutta
Dear Jesus, help us to spread your fragrance everywhere we go. Flood our souls with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess our whole being, so utterly, that our lives may only be a radiance of yours. Shine through us, that every soul we come in contact with may feel your presence in our soul. Let them look up and see no longer us but only Jesus! Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine as you shine; so to shine as to be a light to others. The light, O Jesus will be from you. None of it will be ours; it will be your shinning on others through us. Let us thus praise you in the way that you love best by shinning on those around us. Let us preach you preaching: not by words but by our example, by the catching force, by sympathetic influence of what we do, the evident fullness of the love our hearts bear to you. Amen

My Words

Today is a day America will never forget. I wish to say that we Americans also feel the pain of those effected by terrorism, war, and crime and violence of any kind around the world. Whether it be the innocent victims in Israel, Afghanistan, Iraq
or anywhere. We are all brothers and sister of God. I know many people outside of America grieve this day also. Thank you for your support and prayers! Violence should not be tolerated anywhere. Today I pray for America and the entire world. May we one day live in peace and respect each other the way God wants us to. No matter what your religion or beliefs, I pray for peace and happiness for our world. I am sorry!

Pope Benedict XVI Prayer for Peace:

Knights of Columbus
World Day of Prayer for Peace
September 11th.

God of peace, bring your peace to our violent world: peace in the hearts of all men and women and peace among nations of the earth. Turn to your way of love those whose hearts and minds are consumed with hatred.

God of understanding, overwhelmed by the magnitude of this tragedy, we seek your light and guidance as we comfort such terrible events. Grant that those whose lives were spared may live so that the lives lost ...may not have been lost in vain. Comfort and console us, strengthen us in hope, and give us the wisdom and courage to work tirelessly for a world where true peace and love reign among nations and in the hearts of all.

Divine Mercy

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowfull Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustable, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen

Prayer for The Pope

Joseph Ratzinger
POPE BENEDICT XVI
Elected Pope: 4-10-2005
God our Father, shepherd and guide
look with love on Benedict
your servant, the pastor of your church.
May his word and example inspire
and guide the Church, and
may he, and all those untrusted
to his care, come to the joy of
everlasting life.

Grant this through our Lord
Jesus Christ, your son,
who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
